Slow feeders built in Canada for tough horses and extreme weather.

Would you use hay nets if they were easier to fill?

HayPal manufactures slow feeders that simplify the work of filling hay nets. In the video above, we filled four hay net feeders in 40 seconds. Our goal is to reduce your workload, and help you provide the best care for your horses.

The HayBox automatically delivers hay into a slow-feed hay net at any time of day or night. Solar and/or battery options available.

What is slow-feeding and why is there so much chat about it?

The term ‘slow feeding’ generally refers to slowing down a horse’s intake of hay, usually involving the use of a hay net. Hay placed into a hay net and given to a horse at mealtime lengthens the amount of time a horse spends eating their forage. It replicates a more natural ‘grazing-style’ of feeding when a horse can’t be out on pasture. Learn more about slow feeding and using hay nets in our FAQs and on our Hay Nets page.
