A. To determine a suitable mounting location, hold the Stall Feeder against the prospective wall or fence and check that the bottom of the empty hay net sits at least 6” above the ground.

Position the feeder so that at least one hinge at the bottom of the feeder will screw into a stud.

B. Screw the Loop Latch into the wall using the 4 screws provided.

C. Place the top of the feeder into the Loop Latch. Level the bottom rail of the feeder.

Attach a tube clamp over the center of the bottom rail and temporarily insert a screw into the lower hole of the clamp.

Repeat this step, placing the remaining two tube clamps, one on the left and one on the right of the bottom rail.

D. To finish installation, drop open the feeder to allow access to the top hole of each tube clamp. Insert screws into these holes.

MAINTENANCE: check that screws are secure and tighten as necessary.

Mounting the Stall Feeder

Stall Feeder can be mounted onto stall walls, shelter walls, or onto wooden fence rails.

This feeder must be attached to a solid surface: install at least one of the two hinges into a stud. Reinforce plywood backing walls with wall anchors or dimensional lumber if no studs are available.

It is easiest to replace the hay net when the feeder is not mounted to a wall.

A. Open the feeder into 2 separate pieces by depressing the 2 snap buttons, one on either side of the feeder. Take off old net.

B. Find the top row of the hay net. (Make sure that the carabiner at the bottom of the net rests INSIDE the net as you load it onto the feeder.)

Weave 1/2 of the hay net directly onto one of the two pieces of the feeder. Insert the rail through each diamond of net, back and forth. Slide the net around the frame as you load it.

Weave the other half around the second piece of feeder.

C. When net is fully woven onto the frame, re-connect the two pieces of the frame. Distribute the hay net evenly around the frame.

E. Mount the feeder back onto the wall.
