Easy Latch
The HayPal Easy Latch is pretty much guaranteed to keep your horse from unlatching their hay feeder when the latch is secured into place. Just push the feeder bar into the Easy Latch to close it. The latch lock drops down, blocking the feeder bar from opening without human assistance.
To open the Easy Latch …this is the challenging part … push the bottom of the lever TOWARD the wall to free up the feeder frame and pull it out of the latch.
These latches are made of 1/4” thick aluminum and are approximately 2x2 by 3” deep.
Please note that latches must be screwed into a surface with proper backing (solid wood or stud). Purchase wall anchors if you do not have a solid backing surface.
